~ ABOUT US ~

The Prince William Committee of 100 provides a non-partisan, educational forum to study essential interests, problems and goals of the people of Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park. By exploring these issues, a common understanding of problems can be reached and possible solutions offered.  PWC100 is a 501 (c)3 organization; donations are tax-deductible and welcome!  C100 membership dues are not tax-deductible.

The committee membership represents a diverse group of leaders from the business, civic and government communities. Members enjoy exchanging views and discussing issues in a relaxed social setting offered at meetings (when possible).  Membership is open to individuals who reside or work within Prince William County or its cities; and have actively demonstrated their interest in the affairs of these jurisdictions through participation and service in civic, business, educational, cultural, humanitarian or similar activities.

The Committee generally meets the third Thursday of every month with the exceptions of June, July, August, and December. The forums generally consist of a panel of experts on the issue at hand and includes both local, area, and national figures.  Since the 2020 Covid-19 epidemic, we have met virtually, but we meet in-person whenever possible.

Examples of past discussions include: Virginia House of Delegates Forum, Islam in America, Bio-terrorism, Identity Fraud, Crime in Prince William County, Minority Road to Success, the Sales Tax Referendum, and Data Centers in PW County, among many others.  You can review some of our previous programs by clicking PAST PROGRAMS in the menu above and selecting the year (organized by calendar year, not "program year").
