Martin Jeter, President, MIDCO

Martin is a native of the Washington area, growing up in suburban Maryland and has been a resident of Prince William County for 30 years.  He’s been involved in community initiatives and volunteer organizations since shortly after arriving in the county.

Martin is past president of the Lake Occoquan Club Homeowners Association, a member of Habitat for Humanity, has served on the board of directors of the Prince William Conservation Alliance, and is, of course, president of MIDCO.  He has served on the Prince William County Citizens Resource Protection Area Committee, the Davis Ford Treatment Plant Advisory Committee, and the Occoquan Non-Point Source Management Program’s Technical Advisory Committee of the Northern Virginia Regional Commission.

Martin’s “day job” since 1978 has involved working for clean air-first testing emissions from motor vehicles under an EPA contract, and for the last fourteen years providing oversight of Virginia’s vehicle inspection and maintenance program for the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.  He resides in the Lake Occoquan Club community in Woodbridge with his wife, Sandy.
