Dear Members of Prince William Committee of 100,
 
May 18th will be a big night at the Rockledge Mansion in Occoquan! 

Our program for our May 18th Annual meeting at Rockledge Mansion has changed!  

The new topic, Play Ball? Will have a panel discussion on the pros and cons of the proposed baseball Potomac Nationals Stadium moving to Potomac Town Center at Stonebridge.

 Our panelists that evening will include:

 
Gainesville District Supervisor Peter K. Candland

 -Local stadium opponent

 
Woodbridge District Supervisor Frank J. Principi

 -Local stadium proponent

 

Tom Sebastian

 - JBG Companies, Owner Potomac Town Center

 

Roger Snyder

 -Local stadium opponent and formerly of the PWC Planning Department

 

It promises to be a rousing debate on the pros and cons of this local proposal, so please join us. 


According to Article X,2 C of our bylaws: Nomination and Election Process
A list of candidates for election will be presented by the Nominating Committee at the annual general membership meeting and additional nominations may be made from the floor during the meeting with the consent of the person nominated.  The election shall be by majority vote of those members present and voting.  Voting shall be by show of hands for uncontested races, or by secret ballot for contested races.

The topic, Career or Volunteer Fire Rescue Personnel?, will have a panel discussing both sides of the issue.  The panel will be published soon, but it is important that you save the date and plan to attend this very important meeting.
